About the Medilan

Medilan transforms ordinary Normal Language into Medilan. The AI handles the consistency details — vocabulary, contractions, sentence shape — that separate convincing style output from a clumsy substitution.

Output works well for short phrases, full paragraphs, dialogue, captions, lyrics, and longer prose. For very long inputs, break the text into paragraphs and translate one at a time for the most consistent style.

All of the letter ‘C’ creates a ‘K’ sound when used in masculine words of Elvish, and unless specified, never an ‘S’ or ‘C’. Example: Cenethor (Senethor/Cenethor) becomes {Kenethor}. ‘S’ creates the characteristic sound as normal. All feminine words with ‘C’ create normal sounds for such a letter, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Neutral words follow the masculine example. The sound of ‘G’ is always that of a hard ‘Go’ in Elvish. Never lighter, to maintain rigidity and stability. When speaking with the Woodland Dialect, cut the ‘G’ of a word when it is parallel to ‘____’ within context. Elvish does not utilise functions such as ‘Although,’ but rather uses similar conjoining and alternating terms, such as ‘But,’ ‘Yet,’ or ‘So.’ Words ending with the consonants of G shall transcribe to become an N if placed before a word beginning with a vowel. See Sandhi Rule. This only applies when the said subject or word is compounded. Verbs ending with E must pluralise with an -an or -in suffix to avoid word cramping. Adjectives follow before the noun on all occasions unless intentionally ignored or otherwise specified in structure. When pluralising nouns ending with consonants, attach I, A or O or a configuration of two to avoid word doubles. If the structure ends with a vowel, tail on an R or S. Objects owned or governed by a noun will have an O attached to the end if the word or context is masculine. Substitute for U if the context is feminine. If developing a noun or adjective to denote a smaller quantity from an original word, take the last vowel and replace it with the suffix -is. When discussing inanimate objects, no attaching U or O is present at the end of a noun or subject. The Language follows a strict and flowing Subject - Verb - Object stature (SVO) in sentence structure. SVO is moulded to VSO (Verb - Subject - Object) if the pronoun is the object of the question. If a noun ends with a consonant and has no previous mutations to amend, fix I to the end. If the noun ends with a vowel (same mutation standards), attach an N. Denoting past tense; replace the final vowel with either -un, -in, -an, or simply -n. Keep diacritics in the location of the original in said word unless specified otherwise. Pluralising terms (i.e. Dâcimaril) allows for standard S to be allotted at the end of the word, as is normal with English terminology. IMPORTANT: The Deep Elves of the West speak Mëdilan in the High Dialect, which has short, punchy vowels and light, airy consonants. The Woodland Dialect, spoken by the Moon Elves and Woodland Elves, carries softer, breathier sounds, and rolls the R’s along with longer vowels from deep in the throat. G’s catch as H’s, and H’s are soft and light. Rigidity falls to obsoleteness. Dwarvish Terms. Miscellaneous. When to use it

  • Greeting cards and messages. Add personality to birthday, wedding, or thank-you messages.
  • Comedy and parody. Rewrite serious content in an unexpected register for comedic contrast.
  • Creative writing and fiction. Give characters distinctive voices that stay consistent across long projects.
  • Marketing copy experiments. Test how your message reads in a different tone before committing.

Tips for best results

  • Copy and save versions you like before refreshing; outputs are not stored between sessions.
  • Short, punchy inputs often produce the most natural-feeling style output.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Medilan free to use?

Yes. The Medilan is free, requires no signup, has no daily limit, and adds no watermark. You can use the translations for personal or commercial projects.

Can I use the output commercially?

Yes. Output is yours to use in books, scripts, videos, posts, products, or anywhere else. No attribution required.

How long can my input be?

Each translation supports up to roughly 4,000 tokens of output, about 2,500-3,000 English words. For longer texts, break the input into paragraphs and translate one at a time.

What kind of input works best?

Clear, direct Normal Language sentences. The Medilan excels when input is unambiguous; the more concrete the input meaning, the more confidently the style transformation is applied.

Why do I get slightly different output each time?

The translator runs at a moderate creative temperature, so identical inputs produce varied outputs by design. Run it two or three times and pick the version that fits best.
