What is cursed text?

Cursed text — also called zalgo text after the internet creepypasta that popularized the look — is regular letters with combining diacritical marks stacked above, below, and through them. The marks are real Unicode characters from the combining-diacritical block, not graphics, so the haunted appearance survives copy and paste.

Mild, heavy, and extreme

The three intensities stack a different number of marks per character. Mild is readable enough for chats and bios. Heavy hits the sweet spot for memes and creepy aesthetic posts. Extreme is pure chaos — perfect for horror jokes, but some apps will strip the marks or refuse to send the message at that density.
